Ashputtle Bloom is an interactive animated storytelling project based on the Grimm fairytale Ashputtle. Through ashy, flower-like hands, the viewer uncovers fragments of Ashputtle’s hardships by interacting with the image. Each revealed layer represents loss, labor, and endurance. Only after all experiences are seen does Ashputtle bloom, symbolizing resilience, inner strength, and transformation through hardship.
