A classic retelling of the Grimm Brother’s tale: The Elves and the Shoemaker, this project illustrates the narrative from the shoemaker’s perspective. Through the use of digital scrollytelling, the story unfolds itself into interactive layers with carefully timed visual transitions and user-controlled pacing. The interplay of the images and texts are further supported by the color palette, which reflects significant changes that occur in the plot itself.
