Ilya Izyumskiy
The project is an animated interpretation of a fairy tale from the Grimm brothers' classic legacy, reimagined through a dark visual and narrative prism. Rich in events and figures, the tale of the King of the Golden Mountain has been bypassed by film adaptations, and yet it contains deals with the devil, enchanted castles, blood flowing in rivers, and giants with magic rings and swords. This tale has everything but a happy ending.
